Mapping ART with Siboney Duff – Strategic Planning for Writers (and other Creatives)
Ever found yourself in a rut? Sinking as though through quicksand, the rest of your life taking over while your magnum opus gathers dust? Or always dreaming up projects, ideas, or collaborations only to wonder where the time goes and why you’re not being more productive? This full-day workshop is about the interplay between dreaming and doing – about the fine art of getting shit done.
Participants will learn Siboney’s Mapping ART method to creative strategic planning, a process she has developed based on best-practice ‘business world’ accountability structures and processes, and underscored by self-care and the principles of stoicism. Forget SWAT analyses and Key Performance Indicators – you’re a human being and an artist, not a machine. Your process needs to be sensitively constructed with creativity in mind – but you still need to produce. And earn an income. And take care of your family. And feed the dog. This workshop will show you how to build and expand your professional skills and profile while living a rich (and hectic) life.
