Screenworks Books to Screen: Adapting Lambs of God

In this workshop Sarah Lambert will talk about how she adapted the novel into a story for the screen, Marele Day will talk about her experience and involvement in the adaptation and Jason Stephens will give the production company’s perspective on the process of optioning and adapting and what they look for when seeking a book to adapt. Lingo Pictures has also recently optioned Michael Robotham’s, The Secrets She Keeps, which is currently in production as a 6-part series for the Ten Network.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask about their own projects.
Marele Day is the award-winning author of seven novels including the highly acclaimed Lambs of God.
Sarah Lambert is an award-winning writer/producer best known as the creator of the smash-hit drama, Love Child and the show-runner of upcoming Lambs of God.
Jason Stephens is the Creative Director and Co-Owner of Lingo Pictures, and the Producer of shows such as Upright (Foxtel/ Sky UK), and Lambs of God (Foxtel).
