You’ve finished your manuscript. What next? To give your manuscript the greatest chance of success, you need to develop it to the highest possible standard. This workshop is designed to equip writers with the practical and psychological skills required to navigate the long and windy path to reach their writing goals. It covers revising your work, giving your work to others to read, dealing with feedback, approaching the next draft, and recharging your batteries to go the distance. The development phase can be challenging and frustrating; it is likely to take longer than you thought. But it is also incredibly rewarding. If you are committed to becoming a writer, you can’t avoid it.
For writers of fiction and narrative non-fiction who have a complete draft of their manuscript.
To Bring Could participants bring a draft synopsis, no more than 500 words.
