Luka Lesson is a rapper, poet and educator of Greek heritage from Australia born in Meanjin / Brisbane. Luka is a former Australian Poetry Slam Champion, has performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and toured with rapper Akala (UK) and philosopher Dr Cornel West (USA) among others. Luka‘s work is studied in education centres across the country, most notably his poem May Your Pen Grace The Page appears in the HSC list for The Craft of Writing in NSW. Most recently, Luka premiered his long-form project Agapi & Other Kinds of Love at the National Museum of Australia during their exhibition Ancient Greeks: Athletes, Warriors & Heroes.
