Micheline’s novel, ‘The Healing Party’, was shortlisted for the Victorian Premiers Literary Awards, the Dobbie and the Voss Literary Prize. Her essays are published in The Monthly. Most recently she was published in ‘We’ve Got This: Stories by Disabled Parents’. Micheline was born in Penang Malaysia and has lived in Darwin and Melbourne since migrating to Australia. Micheline uses an electric wheelchair. Her recent essays, published in The Monthly and anthologies, focus on the place of disability and diversity in this world.
