Australian Poetry, the national poetry body, runs an extensive calendar of publications and festival events. Here, we partner directly with major and emerging literary festivals where many of these poems are then published by AP. These events are presented in partnership via funding from the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund.

Quarterly Essay is the leading agenda-setting journal of politics and culture in Australia. Established in 2001, Quarterly Essay presents the widest range of political, intellectual and cultural opinion, and aims to foster debate. It offers a forum for original long-form investigations, profiles and arguments, and correspondence on previous essays.

In 2025 the Walkley Foundation celebrates 70 years of recognising the best Australian journalism through the Walkley Awards, which were founded in 1956. As well as awards and prizes, the Foundation supports Australian journalists at all stages through scholarships, fellowships, grants, mentoring, professional development and more. Entries for the 70th Walkley Awards open on 1 July, and close on 18 August, 2025.
