2019 Membership Drive
Our annual Membership Drive has officially kicked off! All Byron Writers Festival memberships expire on 28 February and everybody joining or renewing before Monday 4 March will be in the running for the major prize of a Byron Writers Festival Golden Ticket and one of our weekly prizes.
*Anyone who joined or renewed after 1 Dec 2018 will have their membership rolled over to 2019, and will automatically go into the Week One prize draw.
Week Three – Readers’ Prize
18 – 24 Feb ALL new and renewing members from 18-24 Feb will receive a complimentary four week digital subscription to The Saturday Paper.Please note, your email will be supplied to The Saturday Paper for the subscription to be activated.
One weekly runner-up will receive a 12 month premium subscription to the Griffith Review.
Major Prize – Byron Writers Festival Golden Ticket
2 x 3-day 2019 Festival passes, a double invitation to the Festival’s opening night event, and 2 x tickets to a Festival Satellite Event. All new or renewed memberships made before midnight Sunday 3 March are eligible for this prize.

Byron Writers Festival membership expires on 28 February of the following year. Memberships are processed online and renewals processed from December will be rolled over into the following year.

Individual membership is for individual writers and readers and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Concession rates are available for students and valid concession card holders – the type of concession and card number must be included on your membership application form.
$60 Adults / $50 pensioner concession / $40 students
Family membership represents extraordinary value and is available for two adults and up to three children (under the age of 18 years old) from the same family. Names of family members must be specified at time of joining. The family receives one posted copy of the member magazine per edition and multiple discounts for workshops and Festival tickets.
$90 per family
Organisation membership is for businesses, arts organisations, and writers groups. Each organisation receives five posted member magazines and reduced admission prices for five members per project or workshop.
